RBI MPC meet : The RBI on Wednesday hiked repo rate, the rate at which it lends short-term funds to banks, by 25 bps, marking an end to the current rate hike cycle. Maintaining an accomodative stance, the RBI maintained its commitment to fight inflation.Since last May, the MPC has hiked the policy rates by 250 bps to fight a stubborn inflation.
