MP Police: 1435 fake Ray-Ban sunglasses, 610 covers worth Rs.77000 seized

The MP police have seized 1435 fake Ray-Ban sunglasses, 610 covers worth Rs.77000 from a shop in Jabalpur.

The police took action on a complaint from field manager of United Oversears Trademark Company field manager about fake Ray-Ban sunglasses are sold in Raj Opticals in Omit area, Omti PS incharge Vipin Tiwari said.

The cops with team of the complainant company raided Raj Opticals shop after information given to the owner of shop Padam Kumar Melani (44), on search the fake sungalsses were found kept in five boxes and covers kept in two boxes.

the owner of the shop is booked under sections 51, 63 of Copyrights Act.
