23,360 saplings will be planted in urban bodies on launch of Ladli Bahna Yojana

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the ‘Laadli Bahna Yojana’ on his birthday, March 5.

On this day “Shiv Vatikas” will be developed in all 413 urban bodies. 23 thousand 360 saplings will be planted in Shiv Vatikas.

Giving this information, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that Chouhan will complete 64 years (23 thousand 360 days) on March 5.

It has been decided to plant 23 thousand 360 saplings on this occasion. Saplings will be planted in all urban bodies from 8 am.

Minister Singh has instructed Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Neeraj Mandloi to complete all the preparations for plantation to be held on March 5 within the time limit. He also reviewed the preparations.

During this, Commissioner Urban Administration and Development Bharat Yadav and Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bhopal K.V.S. Choudhary were present.

Urban Development Minister Shri Singh said that saplings will be planted on priority by women in Shiv Vatikas. He said that planting saplings is the greatest birthday gift for our Chief Minister, who has dedicated every moment for protection and safeguarding of environment. The preparation for planting saplings will start from March 3. Saplings of local species will be planted on priority.

Instructions have been given to ensure the participation of citizens, public representatives, women’s voluntary organisations, women, women corporators etc. in the programme.
