Biography of Veer Savarkar will be taught in government schools of Madhya Pradesh. School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar has talked about including it in the school curriculum. The Congress termed the move as an insult to the freedom fighters.
Minister Inder Singh Parmar said, Veer Savarkar is one of our great revolutionaries who were sentenced to two life sentences in one birth. He became the first writer in the freedom struggle of 1857, who called the movement of 1857 as freedom struggle. Otherwise people used to say Gadam.
The minister said, he has an unprecedented contribution in India’s independence, so he should be respected everywhere. Unfortunately, the Congress governments in this country did not give place to the great revolutionaries of India in the pages of history. Foreign invaders were written great and patriots were not called great. National Education Policy 2020 is working on India centric education. Those who work for the country will become the heroes of the country. We will work to teach children about them.
Children will also be taught the essence of Gita in schools.
Inder Singh Parmar said that we will include the biography of the right great men in the syllabus, so the Chief Minister will include the message of Gita, revolutionaries like Parshuram, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru in the syllabus. In 2018, when the Congress government was formed for some time, Veer Savarkar’s book was distributed in a school. Kamal Nath had suspended the principal of that school. The people of Congress do not want the revolutionaries of our country to reach the children.
Congress bid – in what capacity are you including Savarkar.
Congress MLA Arif Masood said, in what capacity they want to include Savarkar in the school syllabus, this is a big question mark. This is very regrettable. From what we have read, there is no background of Savarkar in the freedom struggle. Read many of his letters, many times letters have come in the social media, in which he apologized to the British. It is shameful to include such a person in the history syllabus.
They were not freedom fighters at all. The background they come from is their (BJP-RSS) guide, founder, hence their compulsion. We are country lovers. We will not give priority to such wrongdoings. This is a joke, the freedom fighters are being mocked. The history of those who laid down their lives for the country should be taught and not the history of those who apologized.
