Yesterday’s big news was related to the price of gas cylinder. On Tuesday, just before Diwali, the government has increased the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders by more than Rs 100. Apart from this, the government has collected Rs 1.72 lakh crore from Goods and Services Tax i.e. GST in October 2023. This is 13% more than a year ago i.e. October 2022.
