Mohan Yadav new CM of Madhya Pradesh, two deputy CMs; Shivraj submitted resignation to the Governor
The name of the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has been announced. Mohan Yadav’s name was approved in the legislature party meeting held in Bhopal on Monday. Mohan Yadav was unanimously elected as the next Chief Minister of the state in the presence of party-sent observers Manohar Lal Khattar, Dr. K Laxman and Asha Lakra.
The suspense regarding the name of the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh has finally ended. Mohan Yadav’s name has been approved as the Chief Minister of the state. His name was approved unanimously in the BJP legislature party meeting. Earlier, the BJP high command had appointed Manohar Lal Khattar, Dr. K. Laxman and Asha Lakra as observers and entrusted them with the responsibility of choosing the CM. Mohan Yadav’s name was finalized in the legislature party meeting held on Monday in the presence of observers.
Mohan Yadav is MLA from Ujjain South Assembly seat. According to sources, there will also be two Deputy Chief Ministers in Madhya Pradesh.
The two names that are in fray for this are Jagdish Deora and Rajesh Shukla. Jagdish Deora is MLA from Malhargarh and Rajendra Shukla is from Rewa. Apart from this, the name of Narendra Singh Tomar has been announced for the post of Speaker.
Mohan Yadav has studied from Madhav Science College. He has held the responsibility of Municipal Minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Ujjain.
Mohan was also elected co-secretary of the student union in 1982.
He has also been a member of the State Executive of BJP and member of the Central Committee of Simhastha Madhya Pradesh, head of Madhya Pradesh Development Authority, member of the Advisory Committee in Western Railway Board.
After 2013, 2018, now he has reached the Assembly in 2023 also by winning the election from Ujjain South Assembly seat.
Voting was held for 230 assembly seats of Madhya Pradesh on November 17. Its results were released on 30 November. In the results, BJP won with a huge majority. If we look at the figures, BJP got 163 seats, while Congress had to be satisfied with only 66 seats.

After winning the elections, the question in everyone’s mind was who would be the next CM of the state? Shivraj Singh Chouhan had been going among the people since winning the elections. Were meeting mothers and sisters. He had also said that he would stay in Madhya Pradesh only.
He had repeatedly reiterated that he would accept every decision of the party.
Meanwhile, the BJP MPs who won the assembly elections made the matter more interesting by resigning. With this, it was believed that apart from Shivraj, there are many big names in the race for the post of CM.
After a long wait, the party appointed observers for the three states last Friday and entrusted them with the responsibility of meeting the MLAs and deciding the CM.
Meanwhile, yesterday the party surprised everyone in Chhattisgarh by electing Vishnudev Sai, who comes from the tribal community, as the CM. Since then, speculations regarding Madhya Pradesh have intensified.
