Indore-Ujjain road will be six lane: Registration, 50% discount in road tax on vehicle purchase in Ujjain trade fair; cabinet decision
On the lines of Gwalior, now a trade fair will be organized in Ujjain in March. In this, 50 percent discount will be given in registration fees and road tax on the purchase of vehicles. This decision has been taken in the meeting of Dr. Mohan Yadav cabinet on Monday.
The Cabinet has also approved the proposal to make Indore-Ujjain road six-lane at a cost of Rs 1700 crore. Tributes were also paid to national saint Acharya Vidyasagar ji in the meeting.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya informed about the decisions of the cabinet. He said- Kartik fair has been organized in Ujjain for a long time. It has been decided to give exemption in registration and road tax on automobiles in this trade fair to be held from next month. Just as 50 percent discount is given in Gwalior fair. Same thing will be given here also.
Indore-Ujjain road will be built on PPP model
Preparations for Ujjain Simhastha are going on. It has been decided to six-lane Indore-Ujjain road. A parallel road will be built from Hatod. This road will be built on PPP model at a cost of Rs 1700 crore.
Under the new education policy, big universities will be made autonomous. Colleges will also be made autonomous. First of all, the new Tantya Mama Bhil University is being started by separating it from Devi Ahilya University. This university will operate in Khargone. Krantiveer Tatyatope University will be started in Guna by separating it from Gwalior University. Guna and Ashoknagar districts are currently included in this. The rest of the decisions will be taken later.
Appointment of two new members in Public Service Commission
Two new members have been appointed in Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. This includes Dr. HS Markam (Assistant Professor of Dentistry, Jabalpur Medical College) and Dr. Narendra Kumar Kosthi (Assistant Professor of Economics, Mahakaushal Arts and Commerce College, Jabalpur).
Anwalia Medium Irrigation Project is proposed on Ghorapchhad river near Roshni village of Khalwa tehsil of Khandwa. The cabinet approved Rs 165 crore for this.
Making cow shelters self-reliant was also discussed in the cabinet. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there are many cow shelters where incense sticks are made from cow dung. There was discussion on what can be made from cow dung and urine. The government is preparing an action plan to ensure that cows get medical facilities in cowsheds.
In view of the increasing traffic pressure, Ujjain-Indore four lane will be made six lane. If this happens, the 44 kilometer journey will be completed in 45 to 50 minutes. Now it takes 60 to 70 minutes. MP Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) has prepared its Detailed Project Report (DPR).
