In retaliation to this attack, Russia has also attacked Ukraine with 46 drones. However, according to Ukraine, it shot down 38 of these drones.

After the attack on the oil refinery, there was an explosion in it. After this, thick smoke was seen rising. According to Russian officials, Ukraine had attacked 15 provinces with 158 drones. They said that Russian air defense had intercepted and shot down almost all the drones.

Ukraine wants to attack by penetrating further into Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky now wants to attack further into Russia. According to news agency Reuters, he is also pressurizing the US for help in this. Zelensky released a video on August 31 and said that on August 30, Russia carried out an airstrike on Kharkiv, in which 6 Ukrainians died. At the same time, 97 people were injured.
