James Anderson can play in American League: One team is contacting; Said- I am considering playing white-ball cricket

England fast bowler James Anderson may play in America’s Major Premier League-2024. BBC has claimed that after Anderson’s statement of return, a franchise of the American League is interested in joining him. Not only this, the franchise is trying to contact him and wants to know whether he wants to play in the Major Premier League or not.

This 42-year-old fast bowler said last week-

I am still fit enough to continue my cricket career and am considering making a comeback to white-ball cricket.

Anderson, England’s top wicket taker in Tests, retired four months ago against the West Indies at Lord’s. He has 704 Test wickets to his name. Anderson has become England’s bowling mentor. He said last week that he would remain the fast bowling mentor for England’s Test series against Pakistan in October.

Anderson can earn 12 lakh 58 thousand from MLC The report wrote that Anderson can earn around 12 lakh 58 thousand rupees (£135,000) in a short term as MLC. The league has attracted big players for the 2024 season. These include names like Australian captain Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head.

Pat Cummins has signed an agreement with San Francisco Unicorns till 2027. While Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head were part of the Washington Freedom team last season. Freedom won this year’s title under the coaching of Ricky Ponting.

Anderson played his last competitive T20 match in 2014. He played his last match in the Blast for Lancashire. Anderson’s decision to devote the last 10 years of his career to red-ball cricket means he has never played franchise cricket abroad, but he believes he is fit enough and good enough to play this format.

Jason Roy left the Central Contract last year. The American league wants to include top cricketers from England. England’s World Cup winning team members Liam Plunkett and Jason Roy have been part of the league for the last 2 seasons.
