Minor Girl Raped on Village Outskirts in Morena

A minor girl was brutally raped at her village in the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday, the victim found unconscious on Tuesday morning is currently battling for her life.

The incident took place when the girl was grazing her goats on the outskirts of her village.

She was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the district hospital at Morena, police said.

The accused, a 28-year-old man, was arrested on Tuesday morning, police said.

He was booked under the relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and protection of children from sexual offence (POCSO).
