Indore Man Files Rash Driving Complaint Against Himself

In what may well be the first incident of its kind, a freewheeling Indore scooterist has filed a police complaint against himself for negligent driving after his wife, riding pillion, was hurt in an accident.
Ravi Gaur was riding on his scooter with his wife, Shanu, and their two-year-old son when the scooter hit a pothole on the BRTS corridor and crashed. While Gaur and the child escaped with minor bruises, Shanu was admitted to a local hospital with injuries.
Seeing his wife injured apparently left Gaur brimming with guilt, which finally spilled over, and he decided to lodge a complaint against himself.
Never ones to be outdone, the Indore police have taken the matter with utmost seriousness and reportedly filed a complaint against Gaur at his own instance.
