Six Arrested as ED Unearths Narco Storage Godown in Shivpuri

The heroin was brought into the country from Afghanistan

Six persons have been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), and their properties confiscated by law enforcement agencies.

Two people identified as Lavjeet Singh alias Labba and Manjeet Singh alias Manna were arrested by the ED on October 11; the four others were arrested in a follow-up action by law enforcers.

On October 18, ED officials from the national capital nabbed Prabhjeet Singh, Gurjot Singh, and Ramandeep Singh, while Gurpreet Singh was arrested on October 20.

The six are accused of smuggling and storing contraband drugs.

As per ED sources, the six had established a company—Sandhu Exporters—as a front for their operations that sourced heroin from Afghanistan and Iran and smuggled it in the guise of talc stone and gypsum powder.
