Administering an oath to Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company (MKVVCL) employees to mark the National Energy Conservation Week, a key official on Monday urged employees to minimise power spillovers.
Director (Technical) Deeptpal Singh Yadav told employees at the company headquarters in Govindpura to strive for electricity conservation.
Describing Energy as an integral part of everyday life, Yadav said electrical energy is the most accessible form of energy used for lighting, transportation, housing, health, education, industry, and agriculture, as well as for comforts like entertainment, telecommunications, and tourism.
He urged the employees to use energy-efficient equipment for the quality use of electricity while managing energy efficiently, and to curb unnecessary electricity consumption.
All officers and employees of the company were present on this occasion.
This year, the energy conservation week calls for increased awareness and action towards adopting energy-efficient practices to mitigate damage to the environment.
