Sheila Dikshit’s Security Tightened following Life Threat
After receiving a threat to her life, the security of Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit has been tightened, reported PTI.
The police Control Room (PCR) received an anonymous call last evening claiming that Dikshit’s life was in danger, report said quoting sources.
The caller warned that CM’s life was in danger for the next 72 hours, report said.
After the call, police beefed up her security.
“I do not have any fear. I am not worried also,” Dikshit was quested as saying when asked about the threat.
In response to another query if she would like to have a strengthened security team, she said, “It is not my duty” apparently meaning that police should decide on the matter. “Actually I wanted to cut down my security,” she was quoted as saying.
A senior police official said that they were yet to trace the anonymous caller. “We are trying to trace the caller,” he was quoted as saying.
