Egypt may become a model of democracy
The US secretary of state Hillary Clinton said that the US is hopeful Egypt will become a model for democracy in the region.
Some critics say that the US government is again sitting on the fence, as it did before President Hosni Mubarak resigned, in deciding whether to back the people or the army.
