CBI working under Congress influence: BJP
BANGALORE: On Monday Karnataka BJP slammed the Congress for the arrest of former state minister G Janardhana Reddy, alleging the CBI was working under the shadow of the ruling party at the Centre.
State BJP President KS Eshwarappa told reporters at Shimoga, “The arrest of Janardhana Reddy proves the CBI is under the shadow of the Congress.”
He said the BJP’s consistent stand has been that it has no confidence in the investigation agency as there are many examples of its misuse.
He said Reddy would wage a legal battle to clear his name. “I am confident that he will get justice,” he added.
