Prabhat Jha and Uma Shankar Gupta should resign

BHOPAL: Ajay Singh, the leader of opposition in the Madhya Pradesh assembly on Thursday demanded that the State BJP President, Prabhat Jha and the Home Minister Uma Shankar Gupta should resign on moral grounds after their names figured in the Police recruitment bribery scandal.

In a statement, Singh said that charges of close relatives of the two taking bribes in the scandal have come to light and this should be probed by a high ranking agency.

The Congress leader also charged the state government with not paying the honorarium to Anganwadi workers and assistants which was raised by the Central government, in an another statement.
