Sachin’s biggest achievement ‘century’, India’s biggest achievement Sachin

MIRPUR: So, Finally Sachin got one of the most awaited achivements and add one more in his never ending list of achievements.Sachin Tendulkar became the first batsman to make a 100 international centuries in cricket history, getting to the milestone against Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla stadium in Mirpur at 5:05pm local time on March 16, 2012.

There was no over the top celebration by Sachin after reachin the milestone. The feat which was eluding him eluding him since last 369 days has been achived here on Friday in Asia Cup ODI against Bangladesh.

The unprecedented landmark was achieved after 33 international innings without a hundred.It was Tendulkar’s 49th ODI century, his first against Bangladesh, to go with his 51 Test hundreds.

It was not one of his most swashbuckling innings, but he has to worked really hard to get his 100th century but finally completing it off 138 deliveries.

“It’s been a tough phase for me,” Tendulkar told to reporters.”I was not thinking about the milestone, the media started all this, wherever I went, the restaurant, room service, everyone was talking about the 100th hundred. Nobody talked about my 99 hundreds. It became mentally tough for me because nobody talked about my 99 hundreds.”

He said,”Dreams do come true. I had to wait for 22 years for India to win the World Cup.”
