Australian billionaire to build Titanic-II
CANBERRA: Australian billionaire Clive Palmer has hired a Chinese state-owned company to build a 21st Century version of the Titanic. He is the one of richest man of Australia.
The construction of the ship expected to be started by the end of next year and hopes to be completed in 2016.
He told Australian media about the contract, “It will be every bit as luxurious as the original Titanic but of course it will have state-of-the-art 21st Century technology and the latest navigation and safety systems”.
The new titanic ship will sail from London to New York in late 2016 if everything goes as planned. “It is going to be designed so it won’t sink,” he added. ”But, of course, if you are superstitious like you are, you never know what could happen.”
