MP is the first state to constitute State Advisory Council under Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act
BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh is making big strides in the field of education. It is pioneer states especially in basic education in implementing Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act.
The rules for the same have already published by the government on March 26, 2011 in the state gazette.
The union government also lauded the works several times. The Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to constitute State Advisory Council under Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. State education minister informs about this while addressing the first meeting of the State Advisory Council under the Act on Wednesday.
She highlighted the achievements of the state and made a presentation in the meeting. The replies were also given to the enquiries made by Council members.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Rajya Shiksha Kendra and In-charge Principal Secretary School Education Ashok Varnwal, Commissioner Tribal Welfare Ashish Upadhyay, Additional Mission Director of Rajya Shiksha Kendra Shobhit Jain, RTE Advisor L.S. Baghel and Council’s members Prof. Mulayam Singh Thakur, Dr. Manohar Bhandari, Ram Bhavsar, Jyoti Vijay Patel, Malti Mishra, Bharat Jhanwar, Veena Tiwari and other officers.
