Narine spun KKR to victory
MUMBAI: Superb bowling performance from Narine, Kallis and Balaji took Kolkata Knight Riders to victory against resurgent Mumbai Indians.
This win took KKR to the second place. Chasing a modest target of 141 runs, Mumbai Indians started well but slow.
Sachin and Karthik started well but doesn’t able to convert them into big scores. At 83/3 they are looking to put up a fight but after that they lost wickets in a hurry and finally the whole team was bundled out on 108. Riders win the game convincingly by 32 runs.
Earlier batting first KKR had a disastrous start. Mccullum made only one while Kallis got a first ball duck. But sincere efforts from Manoj Tiwary, Gambhir and Yusuf Pathan took KKR to a decent total. Munaf bowled well and pick one wicket for just 17 runs.

Gambhir: “I don’t think we had enough, but after losing two wickets early then 140 was a good total … If we win the next one we’ll be in the top two. If we had lost this we would have been under pressure. Today’s win will give us confidence.”
