Luke Pomersbach relieved after getting Bail
NEW DELHI: Luke Pomersbach expressed full faith in the judicial system in India and felt very much relieved after being granted bail. He was accused by an American woman of molesting her and her fiancé on Thursday. He was arrested on the complaint of the woman.
She claimed that he invited her for a drink in her room and then misbehaved with her. He was granted bail on two surety bonds of Rs.30, 000 and was also asked to surrender his passport.
He feels very relieved after getting bail. He told to reporters, “Obviously, I am very relieved after what happened in the court today. I am happy with the support I have got from my family and girl friend back home and the RCB. I am looking forward to get to the bottom of the investigation.”
He has history of such incidents in his country too. He was feeling very disappointed with the allegations. He said, “I am disappointed with the way the allegations were made on me. It’s sickening. I have faith in the justice system (in India), looking forward to get to the bottom of it. I am happy that I have been granted bail.”
He has no idea how the case will be going to proceed. A case against him was registered under various sections of IPC including 354 (outraging modesty of woman), 323 (hurt), 454 (house trespass) and 511 (Punishment for attempting to commit offences punishable with imprisonment for life or other imprisonment).
