Committee to hear grievances of Omkarshwar project affected families today
Bhopal: A high level committee will hear the grievances of Omkareshwar Project Affected Families (PAFs) tomorrow on 13th September 2012 at Omkareshwar. The hearing would start at NVDA Rest House in Omkareshwar from 11.00 AM.
It may be noted here that the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressing sympathy towards Omkareshwar PAFs had announced to set up a high level grievance hearing committee on September 10, 2012 at a press conference at Bhopal. Accordingly State Government has constituted a committee headed by the Minister for Industries Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister for Tribal Welfare Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of State for Narmada Valley Development Shri K. L. Agrawal, Vice Chairman of Narmada Valley Development Authority Shri Rajneesh Vaish and Commissioner Indore Shri P. K. Parashar as committee members. Collector Khandwa is member secretary of the Committee.
The oustees of Omkareshwar project may apprise the committee of their grievances.
