Availability of power to improve economy, small industries to be set up : CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that continuous power supply will improve state’s economy and small industries will be set up. He said that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring state’s development and progress. Efforts will continue to convert impossible into possible. Shri Chouhan launched Atal Jyoti Abhiyan and Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana in Chhatarpur district at Chhatarpur today. Launching Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana, Shri Chouhan distributed kits of subsidised food grains and salt as a token to 5 beneficiaries.
Shri Chouhan said that after ensuring 24-hour power supply in every village, the State Government will promote setting up of small and cottage industries so that rural youths can set up self-employment. He said that the government has realised impossible task of 24X7 power supply. Shri Chouhan said that his prime duty is to serve the downtrodden and poor. Efforts are underway to reach out light of development to shanty of every poor in the state. Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh will be made number one state in development.
Energy Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla said that availability of power for 24 hours is vital for making Madhya Pradesh a developed state. Efforts have been made to this effect. He said that Atal Jyoti Abhiyan will remove darkness from rural areas.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Paras Jain, MLA Smt. Lalita Yadav, Nagar Palika Chairman Smt. Archa Guddu Singh also spoke on the occasion. In-charge of the district and Minister of State For SC, ST Welfare Shri Harishankar Khatik, MPs Shri Virendra Khatik and Shri Jitendra Singh Bundela, MLAs Shri Ramdayal Ahirwar, Shri Manavendra Singh and Smt. Rekha Yadav and other local public representatives were also present on the occasion.
