Video monitoring teams to be deployed in every Vidhan Sabha Constituency
Bhopal: Video monitoring teams will be deployed in every Vidhan Sabha Constituency in Madhya Pradesh during Vidhan Sabha elections. Apart from video-graphing important events, these teams will also video-record election expenses. Main video shots of election expenses will be public rallies, public meetings, size of tents, furniture, dais, platform, barricades, posters, hoardings, lighting arrangements, cut-outs etc. Video cue sheets and video clippings of recordings will be handed over to the monitoring teams the same day. Any common person can obtain its DVD by depositing Rs. 300.
Report of viewing of every video shot by video monitoring teams, report on election expenses made by every candidate or party, evidence folder and estimated expenses along with cue shots will have to be provided to accounting team within 24 hours. Report pertaining to model code of conduct will also be submitted to returning officer/general observer.
