Every district’s separate development plan to be chalked out
Bhopal: Every district’s separate development plan will be chalked out as per local needs and. This was stated by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan at “Aao Banayen Madhya Pradesh” convention at Barwani today. On the occasion, Shri Chouhan disbursed Rs. 85 crore 12 lakh assistance to 12 thousand 866 beneficiaries. He also inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 14 construction works costing Rs. 25 crore 96 lakh.
Shri Chouhan administered pledge to people on the occasion to contribute to state’s progress and development. He said that the state government is committed to ensure that every citizen of the state gets food, clothes, house, education and medicines. He said that pattas will be given to forest dwellers occupying forest land. People dwelling on government land for long will also be given pattas. He said that administration has been made responsible for timely payment of wages to labourers under government schemes. The Chief Minister said that the government will pay full attention to ensure government’s staff’s facilities. They will get dearness allowance from the date of Central Government. Those doing excellent work will be rewarded, but negligent officers and employees will be punished.
The Chief Minister informed about various government schemes. He said that the government will provide facility to tribal boys and girl students to hire accommodation in case they do not find place in hostels. The Chief Minister informed that scholarships will also be provided to general category students apart from SC, ST and BC students and meritorious students will be provided Rs. 15 lakh for foreign study. He informed that state government will provide Rs. 5 thousand per annum for 5 years to students passing 12th class exam in first division.
Shri Chouhan informed that laptops will be given to students securing over 85 percent marks in class XII exam while smart phone will be provided to students taking admission in colleges. The Chief Minister informed that so now Rs. 25 thousand per couple will be given under Mukhyamantri Vivah Evam Nikah Yojana. He informed that the Gram Panchayat where Panchayat is elected unopposed will be given Rs. 5 lakh reward.
Shri Chouhan directed collector to provide government assistance to 2 heart patient children having come to the convention. He interacted with people, gave them a patient hearing and directed district administration to solve them.
Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Labour, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Minister Shri Antar Singh Arya, MP Shri Makan Singh Solanki and MLAs Shri Deewan Singh Patel and Shri Ramesh Patel were also present on the occasion.
