Krishi Kranti Rath’s route to be charted by September 10

Bhopal: A Krishi Kranti Rath will be prepared for every development block in the state on government Matador or truck decorated with panel models etc. GPS will be fitted in Krishi Kranti Raths as far as possible. One of such vehicles will run on the route fixed by district collector in every development block.

Development block-wise, village-wise and date-wise route chart will be fixed by districts and sent to control room by September 10. Residents of village not on route chart of Krishi Kranti Rath will be motivated to assemble at the village where the Rath will be stationed. Every Rath will visit 3 villages daily and night halt at the third village. In any case, a Krishi Kranti Rath will not return to district headquarters before 25 days. Preparation of running of Krishi Kranti Rath will be made by CEO of Zila Panchayat under the guidance for collector. While chalking out route chart, attention will be paid to selected Khet-Tirths, farm schools, farmers’ symposium etc.

District collectors will constitute technical team for Krishi Kranti Rath to which one officer of class-2 rank of the department will be nominated as in-charge. One officer each of Animal Husbandry, Horticulture and Fisheries will also be in the team. One retired expert of agriculture science centre or agriculture university will also be nominated on the team
