Dr. Ambedkar laid foundation of strong democracy by framing effective Constitution
Bhopal. Public Relations and Energy Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar laid foundation of strong democracy in India by framing effective Constitution. Shri Shukla was addressing nationalism and social harmony awakening convention marking 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar at Maharaja Public School, Rewa on Thursday. Shri Shukla exhorted students to follow ideals of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar.
Shri Shukla said that Dr. Ambedkar has given such a Constitution, which has developed spirit of harmony, equality in society and strengthened our democracy. He said that Dr. Ambedkar struggled lifelong for administering social justice to dalits, backwards and building of an egalitarian society. To take resolve to work of society and country’s development imbibing his ideals will be real tribute to Dr. Ambedkar. Shri Shukla also urged to imbibe Dr. Ambedkar’s philosophy of social harmony.
Visit to hostel
The Minister also visited scheduled caste students hostel. On students’ demand, the Minister assured to upgrade SC and ST hostels, construction of PG hostel, name hostels after Baba Saheb and Birsa Munda and make available computers in adequate quantity in hostels. Chairman of MP Backward Classes and Minorities Finance Development Corporation Shri Pradeep Patel also spoke on the occasion.
