CM Shri Chouhan takes holy dip in Kshipra like common devotee

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he has come like a common devotee to take the holy dip in River of Salvation Kshipra during world’s unique spiritual congregation Simhastha. He said that today he did not use red beacon, siren etc. No one is king in Mahakal’s city, all are subjects. He said that he chose this ghat for Snan so that no one is disturbed due to his presence. This was stated by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan after taking the holy dip in the first Shahi Snan of Simhastha at Gaurighat in Ujjain on Friday. He was accompanied by his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh.

The Chief Minister said that members of all Akhadas took the holy dip with joy and enthusiasm. Large number of devotees also took the holy dip and made their lives blissful with Darshan of Lord Mahakal today.

Unveiling of Raja Sawai Jay Singh’s statue

The Chief Minister unveiled an statue of Raja Sawai Jay Singh, the founder of Janatar-Mantar. For some time, the Chief Minister also enjoyed cool evening breeze on Kshipra bank and atmosphere of joy created by colourful balloons and fountains.
