• Bhopal’s Jadoo Nominated to Rajya Sabha

Bhopal  –  Noted Bollywood scriptwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar was on Friday nominated to the Rajya Sabha by President Pratibha Patil along with four others including former union minister Mani Shankar Aiyar.
Born at Gwalior in 1945, Akhtar has close ties with the state capital, where he spent a considerable part of his boyhood days.
