Sensex fell by more than 700 points: Nifty also fell by more than 200 points, realty sector stocks fell the most

Today, on the last trading day of the month, i.e. on 30th September, the Sensex is trading at a level of 84,830 with a decline of more than 700 points. Nifty has also fallen by more than 200 points, it is trading at a level of 25,960.

Out of the 30 stocks of Sensex, 23 are down and 7 are up. Out of the 50 stocks of Nifty, 35 are down and 15 are up. The realty sector of NSE has seen the biggest decline.

Mixed trading in Asian markets today

  • In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei is down by 4.64% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index is up by 2.23%. China’s Shanghai Composite Index is trading with a gain of 5.18%.
  • On September 27, the US Dow Jones closed up 0.33% at 42,313. The Nasdaq closed down 0.39% at 18,119. The S&P 500 also closed down 0.13% at 5,738.
  • According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,209.10 crore on September 27. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 6,886.65 crore.

Today is the last day to bid for Diffusion Engineers IPO

Today is the last day to bid for the Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Diffusion Engineers Limited. The issue opened on 26 September. In the last two trading days, the IPO of Diffusion Engineers was subscribed a total of 27.74 times. The issue was subscribed 34.85 times in the retail category, 0.28 times in qualified institutional buyers (QIB) and 47.39 times in the non-institutional investors (NII) category.

On October 4, the company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Diffusion Engineers Limited wants to raise a total of ₹ 158 crore through this issue. For this, the company is issuing 9,405,000 fresh shares worth a total of ₹ 158 crore. The market fell after making an all-time high on Friday

Earlier on Friday, September 27, the stock market had made an all-time high for the 8th consecutive day. Sensex touched a record level of 85,978 and Nifty 26,277. However, later it saw a decline and Sensex closed at 85,571 with a decline of 264 points. Nifty also fell by 37 points, it closed at the level of 26,178.

Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 15 rose and 15 fell. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 29 rose and 20 fell. Whereas, one stock closed without any change. The media sector of NSE had the maximum fall of 1.55%. Whereas, the oil and gas sector had the maximum rise of 2.37%.
