Sisters of families owning tractor will also get the benefit of Ladli Bahna Yojana : CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that, as a result of a crucial amendment made in Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana for the interest of Ladli Bahnas in the state, the work to include names of sisters in the age group of 21 to 23 years is in process. The eligible sisters whose names have been left out need not worry. Their names will compulsorily be added. Chief Minister Chouhan made it clear that families owning tractor are eligible to take benefit of the scheme as well. The names of Ladli Bahnas of such families will also be added for giving them the amount every month.

Chief Minister Chouhan today laid the foundation of new super critical unit of 660 megawatt capacity power house at Anuppur under Vikas Parv worth Rs 5600 crore. This unit is an extension unit of Amarkantak Thermal Power Station Chachai. Today Anuppur district was endowed with many gifts.

Food Minister Bisahulal Singh, Minister of Tribal Affairs and in-charge of Anuppur district Su Meena Singh and many public representatives attended the programme. CM Chouhan was accorded warm welcome during the Jan Darshan Yatra in Anuppur. CM Chouhan said that the sisters performed aarti during the yatra. CM Chouhan said that I won’t let darkness be a part of your life. Today the sisters have welcomed me here with flowers. I will eliminate the thorns come in their life.

Chief Minister Chouhan said in the Mahila Sammelan (Women’s Convention) that on August 10, at 1 pm, he will transfer the monthly installment amount of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana to the accounts of Ladli Bahnas of the state from Rewa. CM Chouhan said that this scheme has become a support for the housewives to fulfill tiny needs at home. CM Chouhan said that at present an amount of Rs 15000 crore is being spent for the implementation of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. Currently one thousand rupees is deposited every month into the accounts of Ladli Bahnas. While making necessary financial arrangements, the target is to hike this amount to three thousand per month. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the previous government had stopped giving the amount of one thousand rupees per month to the special backward tribes Baiga, Saharia and Bharia. Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, an amount of Rs 16000 for sisters at the time of delivery and other facilities were discontinued. All these schemes have been resumed and given momentum. Chief Minister Chouhan said that along with the development of roads, water, electricity, irrigation, distribution of food grains, health sector, educational facilities, welfare programmes are going on continuously in the interest of farmers.

Chief Minister Chouhan today dedicated Cholna storage weir constructed on Son River near Jaithari at Anuppur at a cost of Rs 6.94 crore. CM Chouhan said that the citizens have got direct benefits from the infrastructure development in the state. Important facilities have been developed in Anuppur district in various fields for the general public.
