Court Gives 60 Days Deadline to FBI for Filing Indictment against Headley

A Chicago court, which is hearing a case regarding the foiled terror plot in Indian and Denmark by Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) group, has given a 60 days deadline to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to file an indictment into the case.
Chief Judge James F Holderman has extended till January 1, 2010, the date of filing indictment for US national David Coleman Headley, arrested along with Canadian citizen of Pakistani-origin Tahawwur Hussain Rana by the FBI on charges of plotting terror attack in India at the behest of LeT.
David Coleman Headley had travelled to five cities during his stay in India between 2006-09, investigators have found, said reports. Reports said that Headley travelled to Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Agra and Delhi.
