Did Salman replacing Akshay?
MUMBAI: Rumors in the air that Salman going to replace Akshay in ‘Fear Factor’. But Sallu says it like it is and he has once and for all rubbished all rumours of him replacing Akshay Kumar in ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 4’.
“I have immense respect for Akshay. Akshay is and always has been the original khiladi and the format of the show suits him. I am not replacing Akshay in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 4,” said Salman Khan.
After trying Priyanka Chopra for one season, the production house wanted to get Akshay back as their host. However things got weird when news of Salman being approached for the show started doing the rounds.
According to sources, “The real story goes like this. Akshay hiked his price for the forth season and was charging close to 3 crores (per episode) which the production house thought was way too much. They thus tried approaching Salman. All was fine however when Akshay later on came down to charging around (Rs 1.7 crore, approximately) per episode which sealed the deal.”
