Eyewitness statement comes against Saif Ali Khan
MUMBAI: Statement of one of the employee of Mumbai hotel goes against the actor in the issue of punching incident took place between Saif and NRI Iqbal Sharma on Tuesday night.
According to the employee’s statement Saif provoked Iqbal and punched him first.
Iqbal claimed that the actor assaulted him and fractured his nose by punching him, based on the complaint police had arrested Saif on Wednesday. He was released on bail same day.
Saif repeatedly insisted that he has acted in self defense.
Police said no cameras were installed at the place where the incident took place at Wasabi restaurant. Statements of 15 people have been recorded yet for investigation.
Actor Salman Khan stood in support of Saif Ali Khan, he said his family were also there, Malaika Arora Khan his sister in law was joining them on that evening and he know what has happened.
