From President to prisoner
MUMBAI: Saddam Hussein’s role will be played by Akbar Khan in a ducu-drama ‘From President to Prisoner’, based on a book Safar Zindagi Ka by Aziz Burney.
Suresh Kohli will direct the movie focusing on the last few tears of the then Iraqi President’s fight against US imperialism.
Saddam was a hero and had fought the double standards of the US foreign policy, said Khan.
Also nephew Fardeen Khan is trying to resurrect his earlier plan to remake his father Feroz Khan’s Qurbani. A film close to his heart, the remake will be Fardeen’s tribute to his late father.He is trying to set his own production house.
