Jagmohan Mundhra passed away
MUMBAI: On Sunday morning a versatile film director Jagmohan Mundhra passed away in a Mumbai hospital, where he was admitted a couple of days back due to internal bleeding. The veteran filmmaker died of a cardiac issue.
According to sources, “He was kept on ventilation but there was not any progress in his health.”
Mundhra was best known for his women oriented films such as ‘Bawandar’ starring Nandita Das and ‘Provoked’ that featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. His latest offering was ‘Naughty @ 40’ that starred Govinda in the lead role. He also has to his credit many horror thrillers in Hollywood.
The director was about to kick-start a biopic on Sonia Gandhi which was supposed to go on floors with an ensemble of star cast.
IG offers condolence to his family and kin. His death is a great loss to Bollywood.
