‘Pushpa The Rule’ teaser: Birthday boy Allu Arjun thrashes goons in saree
The teaser of Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, is here. The makers of ‘Pushpa 2’ unveiled the teaser on the occasion of the lead actor’s 42nd birthday. The teaser is nothing short of a spectacle and has all the necessary elements to become a blockbuster. Directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is a sequel to the superhit film, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, which hit theatres in 2021.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production house of ‘Pushpa’, shared the teaser link of the film while wishing Allu Arjun on his birthday. Their post read, “Celebrate his arrival. Adore his fire within. Experience the goosebumps. Happy Birthday icon Star @alluarjun (sic).”
Allu Arjun shared the teaser link and wrote, “I thank each and everyone of you for the birthday wishes! My heart is full of gratitude. Please take this teaser as my way of saying thank you! (sic).”
The one-minute-long teaser of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ shows a temple festival set-up where Allu Arjun’s Pushparaj, clad in a saree, is walking with a trishul in his hands. He then thrashes goons as hundreds of peple watch him.
The teaser showcases the power-packed ‘Jaathara’ sequence. Also known as ‘Sammakka Saralamma Jaathara’ is a festival to honour the tribal godesses. The festival is celebrated in Telangana and every year, more than 10 million devotees take part in the four-day event.
Allu Arjun celebrated his 42nd birthday with his friends and family members at his Hyderabad home. His fans gathered outside his house and chanted ‘Pushpa’ at midnight.
Director Sukumar’s ‘Pushpa’ was a critically acclaimed film, which set the cash registers ringing as well. The film, which was originally shot in Telugu, released in multiple languages. ‘Pushpa’ turned out to be a huge hit not just in the southern states, but also in the North belt.
After three years, the much-awaited sequel, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ is all set to release in theatres on August 15, 2024. The film features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. The shooting of ‘Pushpa 2’ is still underway and is likely to be wrapped up in the coming months.
