Ranveer Singh on marrying Deepika Padukone: It is the best thing that has ever happened to me

Ranveer Singh is on cloud nine ever since he tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Deepika Padukone, in an intimate ceremony in Italy. The couple followed up their fairytale wedding with a month-long celebration by hosting parties and various receptions for their friends and family.

In their first official interaction with the media since tying the knot, the two have only been singing praise of each other and gushing about married life. Ranveer, who has always been one to wear his heart on his sleeve, opened up about married life at a recent conclave he attended. Highly recommending marriage to everyone, the star gushed about feeling “invincible” like a superhero apart from feeling grounded and secure.

Ranveer said, “I feel like I am flying. Marriage is like the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Wow, I feel some kind of magic, some kind of power, I feel invincible, you know in superhero movies, that moment when the suit comes on, I feel like marriage has done that to me. I feel like I’ve grown up now, finally, I am a man. I feel grounded, I feel secure. I’m really loving it, it’s been only 10 or 15 days, it’s so nice, it’s so lovely. I would highly recommend it.”
