MUMBAI: Britney Spears collaborating with Sonu Nigam for a song in Bollywood.
Britney has tied up with India’s silk voiced Sonu Nigam for her song ‘I Wanna Go’. Sonu has done playback singing in the remixed version of the song.
Britney tweeted about the collaboration: “Watch out Bollywood, it’s Britney and Sonu! :)”
Sonu Nigam responded with the tweet: “India loves you Britney @britneyspears. Welcome to Bollywood! Am loving the fact that it’s OUR Collaboration that marks your first step here. God bless you and more power to Great Music!!! :)”
Britney’s Bollywood collaboration comes in the wake of Lady Gaga’s tie up with American-Indian music company Desi Hits to give an Indian twist to the remixed version of her song Judas in the album ‘Born This Way’.
Now Bollywood is the new attraction for western singers.
