25 Killed as Nepal Bus Plunges into River
At least 25 people, including four children, were killed and over a dozen others suffered injuries as a bus plunged into the Karnali river in Dailekh district of Nepal on Thursday morning.
There were approximately 60 passengers on board the bus at the time of accident.
Reports say at least 10 grievously injured passengers have been airlifted to Nepalgunj.
Police and local villagers are carrying out rescue operations and a surge in the toll cannot yet be ruled out.
