26/11 Investigations Delayed Because of India: Pak
Pakistan has claimed that in the investigations of last year’s Mumbai terror attack, the delay is “not because of its side but because of India”.
“Why India is not giving information? We have taken up the matter with Indian High Commission,” said Pakistan’s interior minister Rahman Malik.
He said that India delayed providing material to Pakistan related to 26/11 and also there are a number of contradictions.
Speaking to reporter in Islamabad, Malik said that Pakistan must receive information on Samjhauta Express blast as Pakistani nationals were killed in the incident.
“We have no doubt that local assistance was provided to Mumbai attackers,” he claimed.
It may be mentioned that Pakistan is going to file charge sheet against five people arrested in connection with the Mumbai attacks.
“We completed probe in record 76 days,” Malik claimed.
Trial of five suspects arrested by Pakistan will be held soon, Malik informed.
