Nexus S in India
MUMBAI: In the Indian market Samsung has launched Nexus S, an Android powered smart phone. Priced at Rs 29,590, the Smasung devices uses Android Gingerbread OS and for the first time incorporates Near Field Communication. NFC enables machine to machine communication in short distance.
On applications front, the Nexus S comes pre-installed with the best of Google apps, such as Google Search, Google Maps with Navigation, YouTube, Google Earth and Gmail.
The Nexus S features 4 inch Curved LCD screen, 1 GHz processor and a 5 megapixel camera in the rear and one frontal VGA camera for video calling. The device comes shipped with 16GB memory and offers battery life up to 6.7 hours on talktime and around 17 days on standby.
