Mayor Malti Rai Leads Sanitation Drive
The Mayor is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Bhopal emerges as cleanest in the country

Mayor Malti Rai participated in the sanitation drive being organised under ‘Cleanliness is Service Fortnight -2024’ at Ward 24 of the state capital on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor complimented municipal employees for the beautification work done at the black spot points at Lake View Enclave at Shyamla Hills. The Mayor directed that chairs and benches be installed for the convenience of the citizens on site.
Rai urged the public to participate in sanitation activities and work together with the civic body to make the city the cleanest in the country.
A significant number of local residents, along with municipal officials and sanitation workers, were present at the event, including Aarti Aneja, who heads Zone No. 21 of the municipal body.
The Mayor also emphasized the need for chairs and benches for citizen convenience and encouraged the public to become more actively involved in cleanliness initiatives. She also motivated the sanitation workers and urged residents to segregate wet and dry waste into different bins, maintain cleanliness in the area, and contribute to the cleanliness activities to help make their city the cleanest in the country.
Since the start of the fortnight long sanitation initiative, the Mayor has visited several areas of the city, and motivated municipal workers and residents to ensure that hygiene is maintained in their localities.
