Kolkata: Hasin Jahan, who accused her husband Mohammad Shami of infidelity and other criminal charges, on Tuesday flew to New Delhi along with her minor daughter, to meet the injured Indian fast bowler. Shami had sustained injuries on the head following a car accident late last week.
Hasin Jahan, who conveyed her worries to Lalbazar, Kolkata police headquarters, about her cricketer husband, has been provided a police escort to visit her ailing husband in northern India.
The city police is investigating against the cricketer after she filed a complaint of alleged infidelity, domestic violence, attempt to murder and marital rape against her husband earlier this month. She even documented her statement in camera in a court of law regarding her husband’s extra marital affairs with a number of girls, including a Pakistani woman.
Jahan’s lawyer Zakir Hussain had said that his client had bought flight tickets after hearing that Shami had met with an accident late last week while returning to Delhi from Dehradun. Her client had made several attempts to call Shami and his relatives but did not receive any response.
Md Shami’s car collided with a truck on March 24 and he suffered minor head injuries and got some stitches on the right side of his forehead.
“I want to see my husband after he got injured in the car accident. This is humanity. Yes, we have disputes but that do not mean I want physical harm on Ms Shami,” Hasin Jahan told the media persons at the Dum Dum airport before getting into lounge this morning.
“I do not know where is Md Shami right now we first go there and then find out to visit him, ” Hasin Jahan said. She also said her fight would be continued.
