If you are traveling by train, be alert from female thief gangs. A gang of women who stole gold and silver jewelery in a train in Jabalpur has been caught. The GRP has arrested 12 women. These people used to steal jewelery from passengers and bury it in the ground. To avoid any doubt, she used to take innocent children along with her.

Two days ago, a woman named Kanchan Pandey had complained to Gadarwara GRP. He had said that he had to go from Gadarwara to Sohagpur by Vindhyachal Express train. While boarding the train at Gadarwara railway station, he was surrounded by some women. He realized in the crowd that an attempt was being made to open his purse chain. As soon as Kanchan boarded the train, she checked her purse and found that jewelery worth about Rs 2 lakh kept in the bag was missing. He understood that the women present around him had committed theft while boarding the train.

Jabalpur GRP has arrested 12 members of the female thief gang.

Based on the complaint, the police examined the CCTV footage installed near the station. It was seen in the footage that some women were trying to board the train. As soon as the train started, these women got down and went out of the station. On the basis of the footage, the police started searching for them.

On Tuesday, GRP police received information that some women were living in a group outside Bankhedi station, about 30 kilometers from Gadarwara. Gadarwara police station in-charge Prakash Srivastava informed this to SP Simala Prasad. Police raided on the instructions of SP Railway. 12 women were arrested from here. Jewelery worth Rs 6 lakh and cash worth Rs 12,000 along with mobile phones were seized from them. The age of the arrested women is 22 to 60 years.

After the theft, the female thieves used to bury the jewelery in the ground.

Woman bugrlar gang is resident of Bhagwanpur, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The women involved in the gang used to leave the camp together. Earlier she used to go to the platform. His eyes were on those women who were either alone or had an elderly person with them. As soon as a woman would board a train in a hurry, gang members would crowd around her.

After this the woman would try to open the chain of the passenger’s bag. If the chain did not open, she would cut the bag with a blade and take out the valuables kept in it. By the time the passenger becomes aware of the theft, the train has already left. After the theft, the gang would leave the platform and reach the camp.

Jewelery worth about Rs 6 lakh and Rs 12 thousand in cash have been recovered from the female thieves.

Police removed the jewelry by digging a pit

Following the example of female thieves, the police dug a pit in the ground. Jewelry and money were found locked in the pit. Women also used to sit and divide the jewelery before burying it in the ground.

Police suspect that the women used to give every moment information to their gang leader through mobile phones. GRP is getting the CDRs of the mobile numbers out. Police suspect that the thieves’ gang is connected not only to Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, but also to other states. The police team will soon leave for Maharashtra. These women are habitual thieves, for whom permanent warrants have been issued by Khandwa, Katni, Damoh and Itarsi police.
