2 accused arrested by NIA for conspiring to blow up Jaipur

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Imran Khan and Yunus Saki, who conspired to terrorize Jaipur. Presented in the Special Court of NIA here on Monday. From here both have been sent to jail.

The matter will be heard in the court on 1 September. The search for these accused, residents of Ratlam (MP), was on since March last year. The investigating agency had also declared a reward of Rs 5 lakh each on both.

NIA says that Imran Khan and Yunus were giving training in bomb making in Kothrud area of Pune (Maharashtra). On the night of 18-19 July, at around 3 o’clock, the police was patrolling. Imran and Yunus were arrested by the police from Kothrud (Pune) area. Suspicion deepened on both in the initial inquiry. After this the police searched his house. A live round (live cartridge), 4 mobiles, laptops were recovered from here.

According to Pune CP Ritesh Kumar, during interrogation it was revealed that Imran Khan and Yunus Saqi are wanted by NIA. After this the Pune Police informed the investigating agency. The NIA arrested both the accused on production warrant from Pune on Monday and brought them to Jaipur. According to the investigating agency, both these vicious accused are experts in making bombs. Both are active members of the ISIS-inspired SUFA outfit.

In March 2022, the Rajasthan Police arrested 3 accused in a conspiracy to terrorize Jaipur. After this, mastermind Imran was also caught from Ratlam (MP).

Zuber, Altamash Sherani and Saifullah were caught with explosives and bomb-making material at Nimbahera in Chittaurgarh (Rajasthan) district in March last year. His accomplices Imran and Yunus had fled from here. It is alleged that these people were taking explosives to Jaipur by car. There was a plan to bury the explosive in the ground about 10 km before Jaipur. These explosives were to be used to terrorize Jaipur. On the other hand, Imran and Yunus had gone to Pune. In the case of explosive recovered from the car, the NIA has also presented a charge sheet declaring Imran and Yunus as absconders.

In a statement issued by the NIA, it has been said that Imran and Yunus specialize in making Improvised Explosive Device (IEED). Both used to run a training camp in a poultry farm in Ratlam (MP). He also used to give training to his colleagues to operate IEED. After this he went to Pune. He continued to give training here as well. During this, the police had arrested them. Ratlam’s poultry farm has been attached by NIA only last month.

Big conspiracy to terrorize Jaipur failed: serial blasts were planned at three places, 12 kg RDX and timer were found from 3 terrorists from MP

A conspiracy was hatched to carry out serial bomb blasts in Jaipur. The accused were in full planning, but before that the Jaipur and Chittorgarh police team arrested 3 accused from Ratlam (MP) on Wednesday in Nimbahera. Bomb-making material, timer and 12 kg RDX have been recovered from the car of the accused.
