An Indian Attacked in Oz; Dead Body of Another Found

A dead body supposedly of an Indian businessman missing for sometime has been found in Victoria state while a man of “Indian or Asian appearance” was stabbed and kicked to the ground by group of attackers in Melbourne.

Yesterday, body believed to be that of Pradeep Kumar, 33, an Indian businessman who has been missing for two weeks was found in Victoria state. He was last seen in Mildura Library on September 25 where he went for a business meeting.

In the meanwhile, in a violent incidence, a 28-year-old man, one of ‘Indian or Asian appearance’ according to a eye witness, was stabbed in a brawl near Melbourne’s busiest intersections.

A Victoria Police spokesman said that the victim was taken to the hospital with a non life-threatening single stab wound.
