A man in Bengaluru allegedly killed his wife and their two children and then died by suicide, the police said on Wednesday.

Veerarjuna Vijay, 31, was originally from Andhra Pradesh and settled in Bengaluru. He worked for a software company.

Veerarjuna was married to Hymavati, 29, for six years and had two children – a two-year-old and an eight-month-old.

Police sources said they got the news at around 12 pm on Wednesday. Prime facie, it appears that the husband might have killed his wife and children, police sources said.

The Kadugodi police reached the spot of the incident and an investigation by a forensic team is underway.
