Armed forces should re-dedicate themselves for protecting the nation’s integrity : A.K. Antony

The past experience and track-record shows that Pakistan instead of using the American military aid in the fight against Taliban, Pak diverting it against India, said A.K. Antony Defence Minister of India.

India now will continue to take up the issue of Pakistan diverting American military aid against it with the U.S. till the time there is a “final solution” to the problem. He said the armed forces should re-dedicate themselves for protecting the nation’s integrity.

He said when asked if India had conveyed its concerns to the U.S. on the issue, “This is a matter of serious concern. We have already conveyed it to them (U.S.) and continue to do so until and unless we find a final solution.”

With the top U.S. leadership India has been raising the issue in the recent past after it was found that Pakistan Army was diverting weapons and equipment supplied by the U.S. for fighting the Taliban on its western frontiers to its eastern frontiers against India.
